Terms of Use

Last updated: October 5, 2026

These Terms of Use apply to your use of Grapevine Wreath (grapevinewreath.com, “the site”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What the site provides

The site publishes free guides and tutorials about handmade gifts for general information and personal enjoyment. It is a hobby craft site and does not provide professional advice of any kind. We work to keep the instructions clear and accurate, but we do not guarantee that every guide is free of errors or that you will get a particular result by following it.

Safety

The projects on the site involve scissors, needles, pins, glue, paint and small parts. You are responsible for working safely and for deciding whether a project, or a finished item, is suitable for you, for the person you give it to, or for a child in your care.

  • Tools. Use scissors, craft knives, needles, pins and awls with care, and count your pins and needles before wrapping anything made of fabric.
  • Materials. Read and follow the label of every glue, paint, sealer and fabric you use, including its drying, setting and washing instructions. Products vary; test on a scrap first.
  • No suitability claims. Nothing on the site should be read as a statement that a material or finished item is washable, heat-resistant, non-toxic, child-safe or suitable for contact with food, flames or hot objects.
  • Small parts and magnets. Buttons, beads, split rings and magnets are choking hazards, and swallowed magnets are dangerous. Finished items with small parts are not toys and should be kept away from young children and pets.
  • Scented and plant materials. Tell the recipient what a sachet is filled with; some people are sensitive to fragrances and dried plants.
  • Heat. Keep felt, paper and fabric decorations away from candles, stoves, heaters and hot light bulbs.
  • Children. Children should be supervised by an adult, particularly for cutting, sewing and any step involving small parts.

Unless stated otherwise, the text, illustrations and design of the site belong to Grapevine Wreath. You are welcome to:

To the extent permitted by law, Grapevine Wreath is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from following its guides.
